Now before you start designing a water block you need to know what the CNC machine limitations are. All things are not realistically possible.

So before you start you need to find a company that can machine your block for you

YOU need to ask them
Will they machine copper

What axis machines do they have

What is their table size

What are the working dimensions of the table x-y

What end mills they are happy to machine with and what are their minimum dimensions
Ie using a standard end mill you won’t beable to mill a 25mm deep slot by 0.1mm wide

Now you need to find your copper stock and this normally comes in standard sizes and may be to big for the
mills table or to small for your intended design.

You really need to machine the copper stock down to ensure perfect flatness so your design needs to be less than the copper stock

ONLY once you have the above information can you start designing a block to the above imitations

Agreed on all of the above. Just be sure to ask them to face one or both sides (depending on if you want the top flat too).
